About the project
ChandlerKBS carried out an audit and review of the client's end-to-end processes for major works projects, which covered substation and protection, overhead lines and underground cables.
The review considered the following:
- Project and cost management procedures
- Project value engineering
- Project management governance procedures
- Framework contractual / commercial arrangements
- Framework materials sourcing arrangements
Based upon the review we were able to:
- Identify key risks to successful project delivery
- Assess the quality of project management controls
- Provide an independent assessment of the status of the programme and projects
- Provide assurance on the adequacy of project controls
