About the project
This scheme is part of the flagship Bristol Temple Meads station refurbishment project for Network Rail Wales and Western region. This element of the project involves full mechanical and electrical refurbishment of the station accommodation buildings, offices, retail units, passenger facilities and platforms from supply point through to outlets. This has involved new plant rooms, lighting layouts, power distribution, emergency supply systems, gas supply and heating and ventilation system replacement. The new system includes a Building Management System (BMS) which will be fully integrated to meet the future needs of the station.
