About the project
Metrolink is a high-capacity, high-frequency, fully integrated public transport network for the Greater Dublin Area, and is the single largest investment ever made in transport infrastructure in Ireland.
Designed to carry 50m passengers a year, the 19km long metro railway service will provide 16 new stations running from Swords to Charlemont. Much of the proposed route will run underground and connect major transport hubs including Dublin Airport, and key university and hospital locations.
ChandlerKBS was commissioned to prepare a Preliminary Cost Estimate for this transformative infrastructure project. This involved extensive engagement with specialist suppliers to obtain up to date prices for specialist operations and key materials.
