About the project
This project provided the civil engineering works required to facilitate future signalling upgrades on the Belfast to Larne route. The scope included bases for signal posts, location cases, SPT’s and other specialist railway equipment, buried and surface cable containment, under track crossings, staging platforms, and slope retention.
The project was effectively managed to mitigate the impact on delivery of operational constraints and adjacent works.
Services included cost estimating, preparation of commercial tender documentation, cost verification and construction phase cost management.
